The American Psychological Association's Society for Clinical Neuropsychology (Div. 40) sponsors a student organization called the Association for Neuropsychology Students in Training (ANST). ANST acts as a platform for discussion, a network of valuable resources and services, and a voice for neuropsychology students in training.
The University of Alabama at Birmingham's ANST Interest Group (UAB ANST) was established in 2008 and continues to work toward the goals and ideals of the national organization. UAB ANST serves to orient new graduate students to the wealth of neuropsychology opportunities around UAB and Birmingham, as well as promote dialogue, collegiality, and support for existing neuropsychology students and trainees. Meeting and events provide opportunities for professional development through seminars, mentoring, service events, accesses to resources, and discussion of current topics and issues in the field.
Please feel free to have a look around the site! This site provides information about UAB's neuropsychology Training Program, ANST membership, general neuropsychology information, and helpful resources for aspiring neuropsychologists! Make sure to visit our hall board, located on the second floor of Campbell Hall, right around the corner from the Graduate Psych Office. Students and trainees at all levels, including undergraduates, are welcome to attend all meetings and events!
